Function becomes fashion in this technical pant built of three stretchy fabrics - abrasion resistant knees and seat, durable front panels and breathable on the backside.
This is a technical pant built for climbers. Besides being stretchy, the crotch is gusseted and the knees are articulated for uninhibited movement. The stretch woven fabric for the knees and seat has an abrasion resistant thread woven into it for extra durability. The front panels use an elastic durable double weave fabric and the backside is a lighweight stretchy fabric. Front pockets are zippered to keep valuables in and there are two convenient wallet pockets on the backside. Did we mention these will attract jealous eyes? The shizzle!

Finding the right pair of pants to climb in is like finding a needle in a haystack...it's almost impossible! I am outside over 250 days a year climbing, hiking, and exploring the backcountry of Colorado and tend to destroy all my good layers. Finally, there is a pant that can keep up with me! I have been outside in the Granite Climbing Pants 16 days so far and they look and feel brand new, minus the smell (maybe I need to wash them!) After squeezing up chimneys, performing the beached whale on a hard mantle, a casual stroll on the Naked Edge, and dragging them through fields of sharp pricker bushes, they still are holding up great. A must have pant for any outdoor enthusiast! I am excited to see how they hold up after a full season of guiding. Way to go Red Fox!
It started with purchasing the granite capris and led to a need for the pants. Great fit, great fabric and indestructible. They come in ladies as well and we're heading back to the shop later to add those to our collection. P.S. The mgr, Arielle is awesome! I'm looking forward to visiting their new shop on the Pearl St. Mall in Boulder.
A piece of gear that has proved to be invaluable is my pair of Granite Climbing Pants and Capris. Both pieces are the standard go-to for all things rock climbing. I can't say enough good about them.
